Avalon Wash Away Backing

Embroidery on lingerie and lace needs to be light, flexible and transparent. To achieve a skin-friendly result, the embroidery is stitched on a cold-water-soluble but stable embroidery backing that is completely washed away afterwards.

Our cold-water-soluble embroidery backings ensure a perfect embroidery result and are easily washed out. For terry cloth, the water-soluble interlining is placed on top of the material. The backing can be easily washed out without leaving a residue using steam or a wet cloth.
